Fire Monorail

Here is the futuristic design of a fire monorail - a fire-fighter mono rail coach that runs on magnetic tracks.
There are control buttons which can be green, yellow or red and looks like a traffic signal. The water releaser controls the amount of water that is blasted to put out fires.

Here you can see the sirens, water blaster and a water tank.

These are two firemen who have helmets, air tanks with connectors. They also have hands with special heat resistant gloves.

The cover.

For reasons not known, the title of the book could not be original. I guess, copyright laws are not known at the author's age.

The two primary characters - Gerald and Piggie.

They call each other to play outside on a sunny day.

Gerald and Piggie run to a water fountain to quench their thirst. They were playing near an orange statue.

Gerald likes to pour water into the pool with his trunk.

Gerald and Piggie try to cross a street. They are at the intersection of 'Elephant Boulevard' written as 'Elephant BD' and 'Pig Street'. They are headed for 'Hedgehog Street', as you will learn soon.

Note the many signals at the intersection - One needs to be really careful when crossing! In addition, they are close to a railroad crossing.

Gerald and Piggie come by the railway track.

Gerald has a blue car. Piggie has a red car. They are going past 'Mayhem Street'. The author spent quite some time debating whether the name of the street should be 'Mayhem' or 'Doodlebugs', but finally settled on 'Mayhem'. The characters are not clearly visible in their cars. They are driving within the speed limit of course.

Finally, they reach Hedgehog street. Their destination. Sigh of relief!

Bye Bye for now. Stayed tuned for more adventures in a forthcoming edition.

The End.
